When you buy an AR-300 2 Person hot tubyou will get a fully complete hot tub which only needs a place to stand near an electrical outlet. These tubs aren’t light at 308 pounds so you will probably need some strong volunteers to help you move it into place in your garden but once there you are pretty much ready to go. These types of portable hot tubs are called portable plug and play because there is no inflation like in an Intex 77 inch hot tub, the pump and heater are installed within the walls of the tub with an access panel on the side when you need to get into it. This tub is 80” x 68” x 31” and is shaped almost triangular so you can fit it into the corner of your decking or a tucked in area of the garden.
The AquaRest Spas AR-300 is made of a Roto molded uni-body shell which makes it virtually indestructible and comes with a 5 year guarantee on the shell itself. The spa is fully insulated as it is filled with foam between the walls to keep the heat in the water. Once you have the hot tub delivered you need to make sure you place it so you can have access to the panel on the side and before you fill it with water, check inside the panel to make sure the valve on the end of the drainage pipe is in the closed position. If all is ok you are ready to fill your spa with water, take is up to a couple of inches above the top jets, as it will go higher when you sit in it. Make sure you have the filter installed and plug into the outlet. Once it has gone through it’s programmed checks it will start to heat up the water automatically to the preset 100F, you can adjust that on the control panel.
The AR-300 comes with an insulated top cover that can be safely secured with latches that you will have to attach to the outside of the tub, details are in the manual. You will need to keep the cover on when you’re not it the hot tub so that the heat stays in the water and saves you money on the heating.
